This Thunderball tuxedo is bearing the all similar features like previous ones. The jacket has shawl collar, with single button cover with horn in front along with only two buttons at gauntlet cuffs this time.  Interestingly, this is the last shawl lapel tuxedo Bond worn until the debut of Timothy Dalton. This timeless classic Thunderball dinner suit has been sold at Bonham for $53,760

George Lezenby Dinner Suit:

Australian star George Lezenby starred in only single 007 movie, but he makes sure to wear out some ridiculously good looking suits in it, and this idyllic blue suit is on the top of  those suits.  This recognizable Lezenby dinner suit featured with a peak lapel collar with single button on front and three buttons at each sleeve cut, this traditional tuxedo also having one chest pocket two jetted ones at waist size. Roger Moore wore out this dinner suit in his last 007 movie in a memorable Eiffel tower scene. The double breasted jacket was bearing five buttons on the front in which only one button can be fastened; it has two jetted pockets and four buttons on cuffs with the addition of double rear vents. Bond has worn white pleated shirt featuring mother of pearl buttons underneath the placket and has rounded corner double cuffs. Bond favorite color fabric finally returns after five movies in Tomorrow Never Dies, but it was totally different than all previous tuxedos worn by 007, the first ever tuxedo in which Bond wore out double breasted vest underneath the jacket, that shows sophistication and elegance of his killing style. TND tuxedo featuring peak lapel midnight blue lapel, the jacket has a single button which Bond prefers to stay unbutton to show his exquisite vest, it is also featuring one welt along with two jetted pockets and four buttons at cuffs. As mentioned earlier Brosnan put on vintage style vest underneath his jacket having grosgrain lapels with five front buttons and two jetted pockets, the perfectly V shape vest is constructed with the similar fabric. His rational style trouser comprising double reverse pleats and side tab adjusters obviously!

The World is Not Enough Dinner Suit:

Star Pierce Brosnan preferred to go with traditional tuxedo this time in The World is Not Enough after wearing extremely modern tuxedo in his previous 007 movie. The jacket lapel, buttons covering, and pockets are trimmed with midnight blue silk. More importantly the bow tie and cummerbund did Brosnan wear is also made with midnight blue fabric. This Brosnan dinner suit is made with mohair fabric to give for giving it more formal looks. The jacket was bearing notch lapel collar with single button front closure and four buttons on each sleeve cut. It also has one welt pocket with two straight jetted pockets. Brosnan pants are blessed up with flat front and remaining other features are same including hook closure, two side pockets, side adjusters with tap buttons.

Although some changes has been made for this cocktail party for instance jacket lapels and buttons are covered with grosgrain silk. More importantly, this is the first time Brosnan’s Bond went without waist covering. He has worn waist in GoldenEye and Tomorrow Never Dies underneath the jacket and cummerbund in The World is Not Enough but this time he decided not to do any waist layer which is something Bond often does.

Quantum of Solace Tuxedo:

Daniel Craig Quantum of Solace tuxedo gives tribute to the first installment of the franchise Dr. No and the original Bond Sean Connery through taking inspiration from Bond premier dinner suit. Finally Bond spotted wearing a shawl lapel tuxedo since The Day Living Day Lights. Since Craig tuxedo is the step up from Connery’s that’s why both of them probably having the similar features including shawl lapel, gauntlet cuffs, jetted pockets and rear vents. Slightly additions have been made to Bond outfit, he wore out satin cummerbund by not repeating mistake what he did in Dr. No, Bond wore reverse pleats according to early 60’s style but Craig trousers are bearing flat front with low rise. Small differences between both of them are buttonhole on the left lapel has been introduced with five buttons at gauntlet cuffs instead of four.

James Bond Skyfall Tuxedo:

Here it is, the latest outfit form James Bond’s wardrobe “Skyfall Midnight Blue Tuxedo” superstar Daniel Craig wore out in the recent installment of the franchise. This is the second consecutive Shawl lapel and midnight blue tuxedo Craig worn after wearing peak lapel dinner suit in his debut 007 movie Casino Royale.  Bond discloses his latest evening parry kit in the casino, this time in Macau. This Bond tuxedo was looking dark not only in casino lighting, but in Daylight too. The jacket features black satin shawl lapel collar, with satin silk single front button and three functional buttons on cuffs, also having one chest pocket with two jetted pockets trimmed with silk, to make it a special Tom Ford has introduced only a single rear vent the only one dinner jacket appears with a single vent in the history of the franchise. Craig has worn cotton shirt and silk cummerbund underside the jacket. From Connery to Craig – Bond Style Suits

James Bond always looks pleasant whatever he wears fashion, style, trend doesn’t matter for him. He’s the well dressed man alive from the last 50 years. From the first dinner jacket in Dr. No to latest Skyfall Charcoal suit he is always a visual delight. The turn of cuffs, the cut and robe of his suits, the neatness of stitching, and the style of his cuffs each element define his perfection in this field. Six superstars have been introduced for his character but each of them is recognize for the exactness of their attire at certain time period. To highlight all classic elements of each superstar we have broken our subjects into six parts (period) below.

Sean Connery Era (From 1962 to 1971)

Since it was the initial stage of Bond style suits that’s why some lacking is been discover in terms of fit and style. Connery plays Bond role first as we all knows and he did wore some remarkable suits in which Goldfinger grey three piece suit is simply unforgettable. In the first two movies Dr. No and From Russia with Love Connery visuals with lengthy jackets design by Anthony Sinclair with the additions of narrow lapels, the shoulders of the jackets are natural which is important for the silhouette of any suit whether they are padded or not. After returning in four years in Diamonds Are Forever few of changes has been notified this time the lapel of the jacket were broad with wider flap pockets at waist length. Interestingly this time he chosen to wear flat front trouser instead of double reverse pleat one he did wear earlier, his trousers were also tapered but not the same like before.

George Lezenby Era (On Her Secret Majesty Service)

With the introduction of the highest paid model George Lezenby Bond seems to be modern and wore out verity of outfits on occasions. Although Lezenby featured in a single 007 movie only but he left some memorable moments in the franchise from his moderated dressing. The trend of slim and fit suit he started were quite popular in the late 60’s, his jacket was shorter than English standard and more fit and robust. The style of his trouser also well acclaimed and popular than Connery pants featuring flat and with narrow style, the fit of his trousers was closer particularly to his thigh.

Roger Moore Era (1979-1985)

MR Tweed 4

In almost 12 years of Moore spy journey he take the pleasure of wearing suits of three famous designers. Cyril Castle constructed his suit for his first two 007 movies Live and Let Die and The Man with the Golden Gun they certainly took Bond out of his zone through designing contemporize style suits, in his couple of initial movies Roger Moore spotted being put on versatile sports jackets with the contrasting pants. Angelo got the chance for later two spy movies and they prove themselves a right choice by bring Bond in his old style and made some flawless suit with the traditional and classic cut. Designer Douglas Hayward got the maximum opportunity to make Moore Bond suits in For Your Eyes Only, Octopussy, A View to Kill in which they design admirable suits.

Timothy Dalton Era (1987 – 1989)

Suits Dalton did wear in his debuted movie The Living Day Lights were far better than his 007 movie License to Kill. Everything was fine with the navy blue suit he worn in his first spy movie it was almost design according to the English style featuring large shoulders, perfect length of the jacket, dual vents, flat front trouser simply amazing. But don’t know what’s wrong with the designer of tuxedo from his next movie. There was extra bit of space in his jacket everywhere neither it was neatly tailored, it was also bearing the features opposite to the formal party such as his tripe reverse pleats baggy style trouser although it was in style but not making good impact was looking slightly goofy on Dalton.

Pierce Brosnan Era (1995-2002)

Since the introduction of Pierce Brosnan as the Mi6 agent, Bond suits able to grabs the attentions of the viewers after the disaster of Dalton. Brosnan era brought away English style and brings more Italian style and cut in Bond wardrobe, because all his suits were designed by the famous Italian company Brioni. In GoldenEye Bond appears in longer jacket with low button stance but later in early 2000’s his suits become more stylish with the modification of fit jacket, high button stance, and bit shorter jacket than earlier. In his Brosnan time period 007 trance plenty of timeless suits in the history of the franchise.

Daniel Craig Era (2006-Present)

1123220 - Skyfall

The Bond legacy of gorgeous tailored suit continues with the introduction of New Bond, Daniel Craig really shows the world how to wear out a suit for the modern age. All his suits design by Tom Ford are very traditional but with the addition of some remarkable advancement. These recent Bond suits are not only graceful but also design according to his comfortably. we have seen Craig jumping, running, fighting in his suits but he looks dapper as always. To update Bond for the blockbuster movie of 2012 few of changes made in his costume for instance button holes are higher than before, extra bit of attention has been given on its silhouette by making the suit more fit and lapel narrow.

3. Direction:

Different directors were introduced in last six Bond movies, but the 47 years old Sam Mendes director of Skyfall call out again for 24th Bond film. This is all done by his great direction skills although it was a brave and surprising decision to bring him and giving a chance because his profile was not exciting enough, but all in all he proved himself one of the best directors in the Bond series. Mendes made this movie more interesting by showing his abilities in creating the suspense and drama with trumping up the tension and some of its lovely and beautiful scenes. Especially the scene of china where Bond takes another agent over a tall complex at night it was an interesting vision to see because both of the agents were fighting and in front of  colored bluish hues.
